There are flat tires in LFS!

Did you know that under extreme tire wear, your tires can actually can actually go flat? It's pretty funny :D. (Picture attached)

lol this has been known for a LONG time... Tire blow-outs happen when a tire's temperature reaches 200F.

BlackSheep720 - in your defence, you weren't around when we first got tyre heating and wear in LFS. The first thing everyone did was a burnout until tyres melted. So you're probably among the very few who didn't know about flat tyres.

Its not only when your tyres get hot, you can also get a flat from having too much tyre wear. Trust me I know because I crashed out of 3rd place in a 60 lap GP after starting last and crashing on lap 1...had to do 59 laps on R2s and they let go on the last lap :x

Obviously I'm not driving hard enough because I have only once gotten a flat during a race. It was when I didn't have a wheel and was locking the front right tyre while braking into each corner. IF I remember correctly it took 10 laps on BL GP driving the XRG with the [hard track] setting.

I ruined the first LFS GT endurance race with Csimpok by staying out 1 lap too long. My tyre blew and I spun in the last chicane on Aston Historic and got stuck. We became 3rd instead of 1st.. :P

MRNL are running a xfr and ufr league we race 1h races and i have managed to make my ufr tyres last full hour :D in the last two races.... Weshtill and Fe Gold

and they could have done few minutes more too as they were at blowing point wear wise .. temps were 115 roughly on r3s.

In my first race with GTR car I blew my front on lap 2 or 3, I thought that well it can happen, then it blew on next race exactly same corner, it started to felt bit odd. I think it was changed quite quickly then so tires don't pop as easily.
