Your going to love the G25. I just got mine 5 days ago and I can't believe how good it is. That's saying a lot since this wheel is replacing my old TSW2.

hmm!....I'm thinking the 'frog' is out of order as no doubt kids will be looking at this site, so better remove it...was fun while it lasted. I'll find something more tasteful :tombstone

Welcome aboard mr. licensed! :thumb:

Couple of notes:
- Take it easy in T1. In case of braking too late, prefer releasing brakes and steering off the track instead of ramming into the car in front of you.
- Read the FAQ about blue laps overtaking rules.

Maybe you are aware of those already, but nevertheless have plenty of fun on the track. :)

EDIT: Remember to give your missus some sweet wiggawigga and sluggahugga so she won't get too angry.

A very good rule here. Rule number 1: Take yourself out rather than taking out someone else if you can help it.

That is of course dependent upon you recognising that you are making a mistake and can catch yourself. It has nothing to do with a noob in front of you cutting into you or braking horribly unexpected. Those instances there is nothing you can do as it's not your doing.

There's been many times I've dove off the side of the track because I didn't leave room and anticipate for the guy in front of me to have a different braking point than me (read as he brakes a bit earlier than me, but not noobish such as braking at 400 meters from the corner or such).

Wow! what a difference a wheel makes :D . My RL car has a sequential Manual Gearbox with paddle shifters (e46 BMW M3) so this is awsome.

I'm thinking about a seat next, 'GameRacer' looks good but is a bit on the pricey side. Anyone tried a purpose built seat that they could recommend?

Sorry for spamming this thread I am just a wee bit excited right now.

Hehe, glad you like LFS! And I bet there are people who ask "why are you playing that bloody computer game as your M3 is waiting for you?" :tilt:

If you're new here, maybe you're not familiar with Force Dynamics stuff http://www.force-dynamics.com/video.php
I can imagine how you tell us in your next post that you're a wee bit excited and ordered one :smileypul

Yep that looks fun!....problem is that I would have to sell my car just to be able to afford one and that ain't happening. Lottery win required for one of those I'm afraid:( . I could just imagine my wife's face if she came home to find one of those contraptions set up in the living room hehe :D
