EDIT: another one: Magna Steyr, a car manufacturer (building chrysler, bmw, mercedes, saab and volvo, but no "own" cars) developed a natural gas driven single seater with 150 bhp and 850 kg. It is quite ugly, but I bet it's really great to drive. By 20th october, they'll invite Journalists to testdrive it. As for people talking about having 1000cc superbikes, I don't think any of you have any idea just how fast those things are. They'd blow away most cars listed here, at least in terms of sheer acceleration and nimbleness. Overall cornering grip may be another matter.

Suzuki Hayabusa
The Hayabusa may be the ultimate drag bike but it's fricken enourmous compared to the current crop of aforementioned 1000cc superbikes, along with a much longer wheelbase (lending itself to being a straight-line drag bike) and the same power rating (about 170HP). The only thing the Hayabusa has going for it over the 1000cc superbikes is a wider power band and more peak torque.

3 Mazda rx7 ( early 90 's body with a v8 ) - great engine bay which fits most mtoors upto v8 which means its great for beating anything 1/4 mile

4 Toyota celica gt-r - enough said

4 Nissan skyline r 32 fun great , not too heavy and its 4wd means its grwat for scaringthe life out of yourself

5 mistabishi evo I - VII - classic cars , possably the best 4 door car ever made

6 honda s2000 - everyone loves these , even a tough critic

7 diahatsu charade ( modded ofcourse ) - eh... its beats most cars to 60 mph but afterthat it lose's but still there great

For this you must be congratulated, and I am actually prepared to hit the 'rate' button on this one! :D

A suggestion though; as interesting as it undoubtedly is, why not extrapolate the thinking, and see if somebody has the time (or inclination) to sift through all this data and produce a 'top ten' cars choice? ie...the car chosen by most people in their own 10 best would be No 1 etc...

Although I would have the inclination, what is lacking is the time...

funny thing I never found anyone using ITbs on inline-5s. One german guy build a Audi 2.1 with Yamaha bike-carbs tho ... (had less power than stock :D)
