11) On outlaps and inlaps drivers are to remain off of the racing line and between the yellow pit lines
This about the pit lines...not the racing line for the entire track right?

Ye, this is just the pit lines, like in F1

Regarding pit boxes - what are we to do if the box is already occupied?

Well, due to §11b, it will not be occupied. Car #5 may only pit at box #5 :)

I'm asking because each garage have two numbers assigned to it (2 cars), but one pit box.
Seems like 1 and 2 have to share, 3 and 4 have to share, 5 and 6 have to share etc.
See attached screenshot.

Agree to that too..
Doesnt make sense to use assigned pitboxes. It's just very hard to find I think and there will always be enough space for the cars ;)

I agree. A good rule of thumb for LFS is to use the furthest available (closest to pit exit).
Anything else risks the "car bumped from pit" bug from happening, causing pit catastrophe for the bumped car.

I noticed this today also, i'd say the best bet is to double your race number, that way you get the right pit box.
I see your point on the rule, and i run the league on a majority wins sorta thing, so i'll do a vote.
