Mirrors?

Whenever i use the SHIFT+ U camera to look at my car,the image on the mirrors are always black. Ive seen videos of people using this view on their car and u can see the actual images on their mirrors. How can i fix this?

do you have "Mirror mode" on "real" in the view options ?

I think it has to do with what car you are following when you enter the shift-u mode. Switch cars, follow car, poke around! AFAIK there is no particular setting.

Sorry for my not-very-straight-forward answer :)

Edit: it seems to have to do with which view you're in when you enter shift-u mode. make sure you're in the cockpit view when you hit shift-u. It seems like it's only a static image in the mirror though.

yea that worked.thanks...i guess. but you would think that there would be an option somewhere to turn it on or off.
