when i try to connect to server its try to connect 1-2 min and display error in game "Error while waiting to reply"

please help

Do you get this connecting to any server, or a specific one?
Have you checked if your ISP blocks any ports (i.e. do they have a firewall)?

what is isp?

ISP=Internet Service Provider.
Dont know how things are done where you are, but in the UK many isp's block certain ports, especially during peak hours, to stop people disguising P2P and hogging all the bandwidth.
My current isp does this and i cant race on over 50% of LFS servers between 4pm-11pm due to them not using the standard LFS ports.
Needless to say...im leaving this ISP as soon as possible.

I have always disagreed with this tactic, since more than just P2P software uses high-range ports.

What ISP is that, Moose? Name and shame, stop others having the same problem! :)

The un-aptly named PlusNet.....two years ago they were (imo) the finest ISP in the country by far. Now they are an appalling shower of sh**, with too many customers and no investment in Bandwidth. They are just squeezing far too many people into there limited pipes...and throttling the hell out of everything.
