What's your highest FPS?

Just wondering what the highest FPS is that you've ever hit during a race. I believe mine's around 85 or so. Also, feel free to post your average FPS. Mine's around 50.

in race? 120 - i run 4xAA, 16xAF, and my CPU isnt overclocked anymore (damn Asus board) so the CPU is holding it back

I can hit 100.3 while racing, but those occasions are REALLY rare; I'm using an ATi Radeon 9800 Series. :D

My FPS maxes out to 60 when there is no one around (vsync + 60Hz). During starts with lots of players it goes under 20. On avarage it's around 30-40 when there are 1-3 people near.

when doing some overclocking last year I found 256 to be my limit (256Mb card coincidentially :) ) but LFS dosent like overclocking much :D

my fps is anywhere between 50 & 200 (6xAA, 16xAF Full Trilinear, hi res skys and shine mod 1024 x 768 @32bpp)

I am saving for a 24" LCD so I can run LFS at an obscene resolution :) and this will probablt hit my fps a little :)

oh yea, my ultra good Geforce2 MX 400 gives me a nice hardcore 18 fps max when in single player, in multiplayer it maxs out at 11 fps. Lowest i've gotten is 0.7 fps.


And people complain about getting 20 fps.:)

i can get about 200-250 on single player, 180-200 on a full grid, and i average at about 220 when in multiplayer with a couple of cars by me.

Since is use vsync because of my tft, I usually have 60 FPS. At the start it doesn´t go below 50. Having turned vsync off I get 140 FPS, with full grid about 90 FPS.

But playing with vsync turned on is much more fun, because even if there is no tearing without vsync the perception of speed is less fluid caused by the leaps of FPS.

The question is: What the hell do I need 140 FPS, when my tft only shows 60 FPS? In addition to that games are more fluid at constant 60 FPS.

By the way, 50 FPS are well playable, too.

I use to play lfs on my Nismo tuned Commodore 64, believe it or not, this baby can beat the 0.0001 fps with just 1.1 bars of boost :smileypul
I can see bright and clear with my black and green monitor with a 10x12 resolution.
You know what? I run the game from the cassette recorder!:D

I sit around 60 on a full grid now with 8xAA and 16xAF.
Solo I was around 150.

I turned down AA and AF because I'm messing around with videos, and now on track I'm hitting 230 :D

My absolute FPS record in LFS was 285. Can't wait to get my CPU overclocked :)

i get around 200 - 240 fps, depending on the track, with no people in multiplayer, with people i get around 160 - 200+ again depending on the track

I've dropped to 6 or 7 on the mulitplayer grid though. Not fun. For anyone.
