Server Commands

The following commands work on the STCC servers:

$record - Lookup records for the current track
$admin - Report any admins online on any STCC server
$auto - Check if auto-restart is enabled

The following admin commands work:

$relaunch - restarts the management software (wont recover if not responding)
$norestart - switches off auto-restart
$autorestart - switches on auto-restart

More commands will be added. Suggestions welcome.

I would do it right now except I need to modify the program to be able to send a message only to the player who asked for it, and I cannot do that whilst it's running in debug mode (from my own PC), so it cannot be today :( That particular command though is fairly high up on the list of things I want to do :).

It's back. Not sure what's causing it, but the application is crashing on the server. Post here again as soon as you finish a race and don't see a licence status. Or you can type $admin any time, and it will either tell you if there are any admins, or it won't say anything. If it says nothing, the application has crashed.. in which case, let me know ASAP.

I've no idea.. I've closed it for now. It was eating 95% CPU on the server, and causing problems in general as a result. We'll have to wait for Becky to find and fix, I'm afraid :(

It used to work, can you not roll back to a previous version ?

I can't, nope. Becky will be able to, I'm sure. It's mostly about figuring out at which point things went bad. As far as I know, things were working fine and then suddenly stopped working without any changes being made. This makes finding the problem more difficult.
