Hi guys, i would like to buy a pc for recording cs s, live for speed, cs 1.6, and video editing in general.

I have a old pc AMD3200+ 1GB Ram, 6600GT.

for video editing i know you have to have a fast CPU, 2gb ram or more.

Whats the minimum for around about recording at 30fps for recording live for speed?

I can record at about 25fps:(

now does a hard drive have anything to do with editing in general?

Thanks for you're help.

I can record at about 25fps:(
try to catch samples on 15 fps (set it in fraps + LFS) and after give it 2x speed in some editor (2x15=30 fps nad that good)

If you are recording with FRAPS, and you want smooth recordings, then you really should be looking at either a SCSI drive, or a drive that is capable of running at 10,000rpm.

You could record at 2x speed, and play around with all the different settings, but if you really want a PC to Video Edit, the HD is very important part of the hardware.
