I know this might be a bit of a n00bish thread but...
When I had Version U of LFS my computer used to work perfectly fine with Shift + F4ing but since I have got Patch V whenever I Shift F4 and back again i get lag spikes which never stop (the little green bar at the bottom left) and I lag quite a bit every couple of seconds. This is also apparent when I go into the options to sort my control settings out. Would reinstalling LFS help at all, because it is utterly annoying.

1.8ghz AMD Athlon (Overclocked)
512mb ram
128 ati radeon 9700 pro
2mbit connection
