I try to drive clean... but sometimes i wonder if i am too friendly. Here's a replay of a bumper to bumper battle i had a few hours ago :) I only see 1 point where i could have actually passed him without touching... and i broke too late and he repassed me. :doh: It was a very very clean race. probably the cleanest race i've had at that high tension level.

I also somehow used the outside of the rumble strip to pull my car around the turn. I wonder if anyone can do that on purpose.

On the last lap i pressed "look right" by accident and that really just killed my focus.

Kidding.. i am also a clean racer, and i prefer bumper to bumper racing, even if i finish second.. doesn't matter.. BUT, if there is room for overtaking, i surely use it, but i don't force it, i try not to touch another car at all..

same here, I never try to force myself if there's any overtaking chances, because you never know you might accidently lost it and cause a crash, hence ruined the whole race, its always better to just back off a little and have a close battle throughout the whole race, and I'd get to learn more from the leading car as well, thats if I can keep up of course :P

They won't last too long if they do that, since there's a damage system now but unfortunately they'll take you with them. Some people are just retarded. It takes all the fun out of the game when you just slam into people for no reason. You'd think most LFSers would be playing it for the realism, since there are plenty of other racing games to slam into people.

I'm not perfect, i sometimes (accidentally of course) come into contact with people too, but it's usually a light tap and i always apologize for it. (and it's almost always on the opening lap where it's total chaos ;))

^I just got done with GT4 and it was really easy. LFS makes GT4 look like NFSU :)
