What kind of lag?
low frame rates? LFS is more CPU dependent, your graphics card is probably fine, a faster CPU is whats needed.
lag during online play? That has nothing to do with your hardware and everything to do with your internet connection. Try only servers with a low ping and fewer racers.
Something else? Please post more information. Dont worry about your English, its better than my....Lithuanian? Is that a language?

so you have bad fps, online and offline?
Have you tried playing around with the video settings in LFS? Theres a fair few options in there that coul help.
Also, tell us more about the computers you are trying it on, like processor type and speed, how much memory etc, hopefully we can help you find the bottle neck.

Seeing that it's the AGP variant, make sure the extra power connector cable for the card is plugged in. I have no idea if a 7300 actually needs one, but atleast a 6600GT AGP would.

Sorry can't help you on that. I'm not sure if it even has one. I just knew some 6600 cards had fps problems when the power wasn't plugged in

What drivers do you have? Try uninstalling them, rebooting and downloading some XTremeG 92.91's

Dunno about uninstalling, never do that myself.in this case. DO. I think its a driver problem, tbh.
Just go into Add/Remove programs, Find the nVidia drivers and un-install them!

in this case. DO. I think its a driver problem, tbh.I did it exactly once, after reading tons of nVidia enthusiasts raving about how your fps are going to improve. I did everything by the book, using driver cleaner and whatnot. Turns out my fps did improve exactly nada. Ever since then I don't bother with uninstalling the old drivers first - never had a problem either
I do see the point if you're switching from ATi to nVidia (or vice versa), though ;)

No, i think he has a driver problem as in some file is corrupted and thats why is screwed - its not that im trying to get it to run that bit faster, its just i think that something is incompatible or something

This could very well be the case, I just wasn't entirely sure to whom your post was directed at ;)

I think it's a software problem indeed, but not driver related, as you said you have already tried several different versions. It's true that in some configs some drivers work better than others, but almost all official releases are tested for bugs and it sounds quite severe that more than one or two driver versions would cause problems like that.
Little offtopic, but ALWAYS remember to uninstall old video drivers properly before you replace them. Also I don't see a point using custom drivers like Omega or XTremeG, unless you want to squeeze those few more 3DMarks out of your system.
But back into the problem of yours... As known, LFS is very CPU-heavy game compared to it's graphical requirements. Sounds like some process or program (maybe a virus?) is eating your CPU / RAM recources in the background.
Obviously you can test it by closing all those processes and programs.
1. Unplug the network cable from your PC.
2. Run msconfig (start -> run -> msconfig). Go to the last tab (start up) and uncheck every program including your firewall and antivir if any.
3. Reboot when prompted.
4. When windows is running again, start LFS and test if the fps problem still occurs. If not, you have found the problem source and can eliminate it by re-checking those programs at msconfig, one at a time. Remember to always reboot your system after making changes, or poor old Windows will slowly kill itself a little bit more. Also pay to not to plug the network cable back until your software firewall (if any) is running.
Good luck mate, I hope it solves it!

I don't uninstall drivers either, just reinstall over the top and everythign runs sweet. If it's a driver problem then other games wouldn't work either but seeing as it's only LFS it has to be some setting.
The thing I've found is that single player is usually fine, but when you go online with 20 cars around things start to lag, especially at resolutions over 800x600 and AA/AF turned on. Since there's so many cars the processor is tied up for longer and the graphic card has to render more objects so everything is working a lot harder. The only thing to do is to lower the settings in game to relieve some stress of the CPU or GPU and hopefulyl both.
Limiting FPS can have a substantial benefit on the cpu, making it work less hard freeing it up for physics calcuations. lowering the AA, resolution and in game eye candy can improve fps because the graphics card doesn't have to work so hard.
Try a few things and see what kind of balance is needed to keep your frame rate at a reasonable level.

Could it be overheating, perhaps?
