Hi my suggestion is more of helping improving the users skills as a driver. I have a picture above, of where to correctly Upshift, accelerate, brake, throttle/Brake Transition, Trail Braking/Downshifting, and Coasting. In the picture its labeled with a key, so my idea and sort of what I have seen on other games is where you follow the cones as in run into them of where you should put your car and changing of different cones meaning shifting or braking accelerating ect.. Since I don't develop games I am not sure how complicated this will be, but I think it would be a nice addition to maybe the practice version of the game.

Buy S2 and then use Autocross editor.

those assists arent needed in lfs. like
XCNuse said, we have analyseforspeed and also you can just download a worldrecord or a fast spr and study it. :) racing against good people is enough to get decent at the game, and studying the techniques of other people can make you even faster.

Even better is F1Perfview. I just used it for the first time the other day and it is fantastic. You get side by side comparison with up to 256 different laps if you save the raf files. This way you can save an SPR of yourself and compare it to someone else or a WR lap. You get a list of stats like %throttle, %braking, average speed and throttle, max and min speed and throttle, all kinds of stuff. Also a graph of many different configurations like speed over time, throttle over time or distance, and many more. Very configurable and so much information. There is an overview of the racing line for comparison also.

Someone has made a layout with cones for the GTI @ BL1, but I don't think there is any need for this in LFS, tbh if you've got time to be looking at cones you're not going to be commited.

Oh, yea, you have to save the laps individually. I think the readme states that you can load up to 256 separate laps. I really wish you could save an raf file in multiplayer replays.

its all experience man. I'm sure you can go much faster on that track. Sofar i've only gotten "good" at 2 of the new s2 tracks.
f1perf looks like it shows a lot more data than analyseforspeed. I couldnt get it to work correctly before but i will try it again.
EDIT: here is a link to the two programs :EDIT
