Other wise, pester info@kartsportnews.com (info@kartsportnews.com) for info, as they are the one's who posted the news bit..
Hopefully we can get a forum with the developers of this kart sim ? and get feedback & also give them feedback on what us simers want.

Cool, there haven't been any real decent or very realistic kart racing games besides super 1 karting which is ok, and this other one I found somehow called Virtual Kart that was made like 10 years ago. Hopefully this one wont suck..

looks interesting, wonder how they'll handle things like chassis flexing and all that... not getting my hopes up about this anyway.
P.S. Super 1 Karting was absolutly rubbish!!

Yeah I know it is shit, I have had it for years. I meant its the 'best' karting game we have, which isn't sayin much.

Hmmm... this makes me want karting in LFS as soon as possible!! :o Those track renders, strangely enough, remind me of LFS (the tirestacks and all). And think about the karting tracks LFS could have. Karting tracks are so small and rather simple, I am sure Eric could output tons of them in no time! :D.
But.... whoever is making this, you can't be sure about the game unless you try it. Guess we'll have to wait

it would be rediculous to think the dev's haven't had a go at testing what a cart type machine controls like, with the physics they have got now no doubt they have tried it once! the temptation is too big not to have had a go!
have faith, i reckon LFS will have karts sometime.

Used to love the old virtual kart game when I was a kid, found it really fun but I was only about 8 at the time so have no idea how realistic it was. I'd love a new, good kart game. I think LFS will eventually get some (even if its in the form of a mod..one day), that would be brilliant.

Sim karting is like sim golf. It's easy enough to do that you should just get off your ass and do it instead of playing a game. :)

I have a two kart tracks within 10 mins drive of my house, but I really don't want to pay the extortinate amounts they ask. Went karting in wales once, that was really fun :)

There's a difference between rental/amusement park karts, and 'real' karting racing.

Karting physics must be really tricky to do since theres no suspension its all in the chassis flex. Usually (well my setups :p) I was aiming to lift the inside rear wheel into tight corners to help get around. I wish someone out there would make a realistic kart simulator, I miss flying about in a kart :(
The best (and yet way off) is probaly Mario Kart :p

If chassis flex was incorporated into 'karts' in LFS this could be a huge leap forward also in the 'car' physics as they could implement it into the chassis flex of the cars too :D

Yeah I know, it's still pretty easy to arrange.

hmm, easy to arrange . .
Its not that easy, and DEFINATELY not cheap. Rental karts are completely different, but still great fun!

good old rental karts! was on ones just today with my mates, i find they provide more of a laugh than proper ones, when u get off you always can find something to laugh about!
i hope the devs make rental karts, but with the wrap round bumpers it would just turn into bumper cars knowing the drivers now days
i say implement proper 100cc karts like ICA, FA, 100Nat etc
the thing i hope the devs get most right if they made a kart, is the braking! its very fun to brake on karts in real life, and looks nice too!
oh and TKM for metalstar and all fun loving people :)
oops off topic there
theres a new karting game -

We have some karting schools around here that will let you lap a race-ready KT100 kart for something like $100.

i think u are right
it doesnt try to be realistic, so it doesnt loose the fun, even the ones that try to be realistic are shocking
