Can't watch downloaded replays

Hi,

i 've got the following problem: everytime i try to watch a replay downloaded from the net i get this error message:

obsolete video

Watching replays recorded on my own machine works fine. Anybody got the same problem or an idea what is the cause? :Looking_a

sounds like the replays you downlad were recorded with an earlier version of lfs than the one youre using

On topic: maybe you have some sort of mod in your LFS directory? I know some mods like the slickmod in S1 had to be deleted from the LFS dir, to prevent it from running.
Otherwise I guess its a version mismatch.

No further mods are installed, except the mentioned patch. Could this patch be the reason? Are there people with the patch installed able to watch downloaded replays?

i have the patch and no problems with replays... sounds strange... send a mail to the devs

After contacting the developers I have new knowledge: the 0.5P2 version of LFS does not support play replays of older versions. All my downloaded replays were 0.5L and older versions.

ah... these r replays from the old demo... different physics thats why they r not allowed.

Yea, I had assumed when you said patch earlier that you meant 0.5P to 0.5P2 patch which should be invisable, no physics updates. When it is a new letter for the patch, then typically all older replays won't work, ie 0.5L to 0.5p or 0.5P2.
