Unwanted in a server

Today 06/12/06 at 06:39 GMT i went in to a server called Dizzle Drift. As soon as i got in there i was faced wit a message aimed at me saying "leave or been banned"
Surely if someone dont want public players in their server, then password them! It really rattles my cage that people think they are god.

Jus letting every one know about this server. Dont know if any thing can be done about it. So jus letting u know.

This has happened to me too:

a dude: WTF

a dude: What are you doing here?
Me: This server is public
a dude: No it's not!
Me: OK, I'll leave then

I don't remember who the dude exactly was, but I remember the team. I had a certain password in my LFS during those days, but there is like 0% possibility that this server could have used the same password. And there is another question: how did a private server got into the public server list.

i dont think its a bug, its clear that "a dude" thinks server is public but its not.

Don't worry about it! When I first got S2, I was drifting on a server called 'IDS Drift' when some idiot said 'Blaeza, do you like ze penis?' and I was banned for 2 weeks! Suffice to say, I don't use that server anymore...:pillepall:D

Hmm.. funny, that. I got vote banned from my bud's jump server as soon as I entered, by Dizzle and some other kid the other week. Forgot about that til now, cuz I just wandered into another server. Think I might have to go and make sure they don't get a chance to vote ban for no good reason off any of ours.

I never bother entering those kind of servers with 'the other type' of drifters. If I join a drift server, it's either my own or from respectful admins I know.

With the attitude of some of the idiots who have servers, who really cares if they get banned from it? If the morons don't want others there, then they should make it private. If they are idiot enough not to realize that and ban me when I enter, then who really cares. It's not the type of server I'm looking for then and won't be back.

FWIW, I have "/ban th84" mapped to all 6 of my wheel buttons and 6 of my f-key binds, just in case I can't find it fast enough. :razz:

I ent discourged tbh, jus annoyed me that at the time i went on that was the only server that allowed the XRT.
