eh, wtf does retired mean? I couldn't do anything, I was stuck there. It says I was going 44mph, but i couldnt move anything, car was running, but no engine sound.

hehehe, you've fallen off the edge of the world dude. Gravity works, even when the ground isn't there :D

There are massive holes in teh ground everywhere. You just have to know where to look ;)

It might have been the host. In patch P2 admins can display those messages to any player. Maybe he wanted to fool you? :)
