Yeah, last night, I spent 6 hours straight working on a skin. I'm finding that I'm having more fun making skins than racing...

I had the same when modeling the RAC GTR "how it could look like"-version.
I think it's mostly the curiosity to see yourself and your work evolve :)

I think it is the artistic bug in you coming out a bit. I can do some pretty cool things with Photoshop, but I have no real artistic tallent. I know how to use Photoshop to get what I want, and I can "paint" cars pretty well while using it. This is definitely gratifying.

Skinning is fun. It is creative and it is cool. But racing is more fun. I do find when I get a little tired trying to improve my times, or I just don't feel like driving, a little skinning can be just the ticket.

Yeah, I'm coming out from practicing Aston Historic with the FZR, and somehow, I can't make anything better than 1:38. I think I know why I have more fun skinning now, I suck at driving and I always curse at myself for missing turns and spinning out of control.

BTW, as it's coming out, I might be going to university in graphical arts this fall...
