Race End Bug

Just something that keeps happerning to me offline:

I go to single player > Select my car > Select my track (happens on all tracks) > Put laps down to practice > Join Race > Go > Esc > End Race > Garage > then look at the pic, that just sits as 1 and does not disappear. Any easy fix?

Computer Specs:

AMD 64 4000+ 2.4 GHz
ASUS Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT 256 MB PCI-E
ASUS SLI A8N DELUXE MOTHERBOARD
2GB PC3200 DDR400 RAM
MAXTOR 200GB 7200RPM 8MB CACHE SERIAL ATA Hard Drive

All Details on max in LFS with full AA and AF.

Easy Fix 1: Restart the race :D

Easy Fix 2: Wait for a patch :S

Slightly harder fix: We're still looking for one :D

I've seen that many times too... not that it affects the game, but it gets annoying in the center of the screen indeed :)

Happens to many ppl, me also. A little annoying but I'm sure the devs will fix it with the next patch.
