Since LFS I never see the real sun or moon.
I do use the evening settings at both ends of the day and when they say its coludy here I make it cloudy too.
I dont use the phone, never IM, rarely ck email and am now completly anti-social (in person):D
Gained #20 Lbs. (so far)
Now that my sim chassis (with cup holder & mini fridge) is complete I dont even spend any xtra time in the shop.
Monday the biggest issue in in my pathetic lil life was that my legs were crampy from sunday nights seating position.
I selfishly built the chassis for me without any adjustments not thinking at the time that I would be living in it!
Now what?:scratchch :pillepall
Cut, weld, drill, paint, waste time!! (Time spent working on the pc or chassis is time that otherwise could have been spent racing LFS.)
Then it came to me :tilt:
A POWER SEAT :D
After a trip to the local bone yard, $50, some hardware, a few welds and a couple of hours it now has a 2004 GM 5 way power seat base.
And the best part is it runs off my UPS battery.
I see another 20# coming:razz:
Maybe I can add a tread mill next:thumb:
Guess I get a little carried away sometimes
Love that lfs:nod:

So ... you made a wheel frame thing ... and now you cant get your expadning chunky but behind it? lmao I know ... go outside, go on a bike, and just blast down route 66 ... that'd lose some of those pounds.
Take a wireless PDA thingy so you can IM and email too :D

I'm in a garden chair. I didn't gain kilos because of LFS, I already had those. Now I just say I'm slower cause my car is heavier.
I do drive to school on my bike every day.:thumb:
P.S. post a pic of the rig!

Sounds like all you need now is some kind of power-chair-to-sewer-line-hookup and a mail-slot in your front door for the delivery guy to drop the pizza in. You'll never have to move again! :D
200% FF FTW!

How about making the racing frame closed ? and with power windows,
sunroof ( for taking a shower ) etc... Evolution you know ?

I'm sure you can build that in to the bottom of the chair. A bit of home plumbing. Auto-bottom washer functionality means it's hygenic to eat at the same time to. Energy in... energy out. ;)

Add the 301 and you have a chaos flying around you when the plumbing breaks :D

Nope, we're not the only ones who are crazy. The race frame stuff has been going on since way before LFS. Have you ever visited the "homemade controller" forum at RSC? Some of the Nascar guys have complete homebuilt racecars setups. One guy there actually took a real car from a junkyard and built it into a race controller in his basement. And that was for Playstation racing I believe, not even real sims.
Oh, and where the heck have you been, Rooster. I've seen ya in the forum here lately but haven't seen ya in the servers forever. I'm going to check up on you in LFSWorld..... Oct. 29th at 15:31 (LFSW time). Ah ha, you aren't staying up as late as when I've seen ya. Me, Oct. 29th at 18:56.

Nah, you use flexpipe for that.

Heheh I meant LFS racers are crazy in general ...
I've seen some cool racing frames and always check them out.
Well lately I've been trying to live a bit in my native timezone :D
Also I've tried to take a deliberate little break from LFS just to keep it
fresh, and in a moment of insanity I bought rFactor, though I haven't
regreted that yet :smileypul I try to treat LFS & rF both as friends.
But after a stint in rF, LFS feels so good ( the physics most of all ) to
return. ( I have been driving LFS just not online... )
Anyway I shall be back for shure dude =_0
I want to also say Hi ! to Dan Hot ( It's been a while ... reasons above )
See you soon @ tarmac Mr. Odgers :)

Saw a discovery program about these guys. The full fighter cockpit (located in the guys basement, built himself) even had working pressurised air for the G-suit which he wore when flying the sim.
Incredible.
