As this is off topic,
just thought out of curiosity i'd ask what other games people play or is it all LFS/Driving types?
Personally i have just got into LFS and blummin good it is.
Personally, i play 2 types of games, flight sims -Air attack the main one which is free to get and play online (old but good) & IL2 which is ultra realistic on hardest settings.
The other is call of Duty, an excellent FPS which we run a few servers for different mods of the game.
Beyond that as i am getting on, :) i play a lot of old classic retrogames mainly for the speccy.

I play quite alot of different games:
GTR
RBR
IL2 + AEP + PF. I love it :D allthough, during large airfights over the fleet, my comp gets stuttering a lot :D
X-Plane
I used to play a lot Red Orchestra (in the "famous" clan [-project.twilight-]) But it gt boring after 1 1/2 years
Just started Playing Gothic 2 again
Once in a while I log on to my World of Warcraft Char... but I will not continue paying for it, as it is really boring once you reach the lvl 60cap and do nothing else than farm for items...
I play Bet on Soldier, which is quite enjoyable after applying a 800 Megs Patch.

Pro Evolution Soccer 4, with all the real teams and players. Also with Logitech Rumblepad 2 :)
Battlefield 2, few times a week.
Also Call of Duty, tho nowadays very rarely, but when Call of Duty 2 is released it might be a different story.

Well, aswell as LFS, I have been heavily into MS Flightsim since 2000, sometimes I am known to dabble in CS:Source and BF2, and also play an awfull lot of other sims, in particular GTR, RBR, IL2 and all its expansions, aswell as GT4 on the PS2.

I havent been able to get into either CS or BF2, have them both, but they are just gathering dust. BF2 to me is just Desert Combat with nicer gfx.
Need to play Il2 more though, just seems too many games but no time to fit them all in any longer - trouble when you have demanding kids/wife/job etc (well the 1st two anyway) :)

I loved the 1st C&C and then Red Alert 1 and 2, used to have a small Lan plying it almost 48 hours non-stop :) - havent been able to get into Generals at all :( - it seemed to have lost its way a bit, even though graphically its a bit better.
Starcraft was good (might have to get that out again)
Total Anhilation was also good, and very underated

havent touched burnout 3 in a while
dont really play many games since my 5200 isnt exactly.. top of the line lol

Recently only LFS and tried few times GTL demo. Before I bought S2 I used to play Richard Burns Rally and Operation Flashpoint with Finnish Defence Forces Mod. I haven't played lfs in 3 weeks, and the last time i played it was only for a couple races. I haven't been racing much at all, but recently I'm playing gpl and nr03. Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is really cool, especially for a free game. I play that with my friends sometimes.

I mainly play driving games.. but after playing LFS everything else seems really crap. So that's about the only driving thing play. I've got rFactor and GTR and occasionally give them a quick go but they just feel so cheap in comparison. I'm constantly trying to find another sim that can compete with LFS but haven't managed yet. I used to play a lot of CS 1.6 and then Source when it came out. I only play that when I'm drunk now and it seems a lot easier than it used to :P
I enjoy the GTA games.. but once you've completed them the fun wears off pretty quickly.

Used to play millions. Now mainly just LFS.
Also playing OpenTTD a bit, no other game has ever had as much replayability as that (Diablo comes close though). And slowly working through Doom3 now and then.
I also used to play lots of FPS games multiplayer over my house LAN with my mates, but now I've moved back in with my parents that's not happening any more. :( Nothing like sniping some of your best mates.

I watched today some videos from IGN.com and I must say I'm pretty disappointed. It looks arcade. Shooting looks very easy, running is too fast etc. Looks more like the Enemy Territory than DoD. I mean DoD has never been ultra realistic but something is wrong when you can shoot STG44 accurately without stopping or crouching. :(

I like manager games (soccer, formula 1), C-RPGs like Baldur's Gate, Gothic or Morrowind and of course car racing games, in particular if they have a good multiplayer support. I also tried Topspin a tennis simulation. But I hate it often to loose in 1:1 situations. In a racing game I can have still fun fighting for 4th or 5th place even if there only 8 drivers.
I like to mention two underated games which impressed me very much:
"Chaos League" and "Etherlords". I recommend to search for fair reviews in the Internet and try out at least the demo if it sounds interesting. Both games can be achieved very cheap nowadays.

I actually tested it just two months ago. I even bought UT2004 because of it. First it felt good but somehow I didn't liked it that much after all - I only played it for few days (I bought S2 at the same time :)). It has potential but the lack of players and servers is a major problem which is quite odd because the mod has got a lot of publicity. But then again - only a few war FPS games have felt good enough since Operation Flashpoint.

I play Operation Flashpoint quite alot, kinda frustrating though because I'm a really crap shot.
Also I just got Football manager 2006 yesterday, I haven't played it much, but I'm loving it already. If anyone else has it & is up for a network game, give me a shout :)

If you wanna play a football manager online, better play hattrick (http://www.hattrick.org). It's a browser game, but with really good concept. It's very international, almost all languages are supported and has more than 600k players. I play for more than a year now.
Although it's very tough for newbies, once you get the hang on it, it's very addictive. It's also free, you don't get any advantage if you pay a supportership, just more community features. Maybe some of you play already, in almost any forum I find hattrick people :P

How about tonight? I haven't played with you ATC guys for along time.
What is the website where you get your addons?? I've been trying to get the address right for ages, but no joy.

There's a patch? hmm might give it another chance then. It was quite fun to play but sometimes you could be travelling for ages without seeing anyone. It was also impossible to shoot people at long distance.
That's why i like CS:S, because the maps are a reasonable size its good for close combat which you can find most of the time.
Anyway think i'll download that patch tonight.
Andy.

Well, I use to play a demo version of a game called LFS S1 0.3h. Then I found a better game called LFS S2 0.5k alpha demo. After I played that a while, I moved on and purchased a game called LFS S2 0.5L alpha. After a bit of that, I started playing around with one I found, LFS S2 0.5P Alpha. I ran that game for a while before getting tired of it and trying out something else that was new, LFS S2 0.5Q Alpha. Recently, I tried yet another new game called LFS S2 0.5 S Alpha, but that was short lived. Only played that one for 1 day. This past week, I've been trying quite a lot of new games. I've been playing this week, LFS S2 0.5T Alpha, LFS S2 0.5T2 Alpha, LFS S2 0.5T3 Alpha, LFS S2 0.5T4 Alpha, and LFS S2 0.5T5 Alpha. I'm finished with all them (they only lasted around 1 day each on my harddrive before moving on to something else). I just downloaded a great new game I found called LFS 0.5T6 Alpha. I'd recommend everyone try this game out. It's fantastic and nothing like you've ever played before.

IMHO the best WW2 game out there: unforgiving realism, great tank battles and only eastern front ;)

Nope, but I did try the original True Combat mod, which I didn't think it was that special. Afaik the ET version is more arcadish and more straight-foward? At least the scale is nothing like in OFP. :)
