Total Immersion Racing

Has anyone played this game? According to this site http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,36680/ Scawen had something to do with it. Looking at the screenshots http://www.mobygames.com/game/total-immersion-racing/screenshots it has quite a few cars and looks fun to play. Im in need of a decent racing game for xbox.

scawen had close to nothing on that game...
whereas the west brothers...
debug tir.exe and youll see wsc dir structure etc...
empire owned the code for wsc and adapted it for tir via a small team. how close it was for the realthing no one knows. lets hope it was not close at all, cause tir blows.
a few nice touches here and there but never physics related.

i used to have it - i'm not sure if i still have the disc somewhere, but it never was interesting enough to really drive it. just tried it and uninstalled it after 3 or 4 laps
