Hi all,
I was wondering if it is in any way possible to set a deadzone for joystick controls.
I'm using u sidewinder precision pro joystick which works fine overall (after a lot of tweaking with different settings) but it is way too sensitive around the centre. This results in very difficult control at high speed (I simply cannot hold a straight line) and in breaking zones (very often resulting in a spin during breaking). A deadzone, I think, would very much improve this but I don't know how, if it is at all possible, to set it.
Anyone know any sollutions?

Try DXTweak for configuring some deadzones. You cant do it within LFS atm.

have you tried this?

Yes, I have. Problem is that deadzone is just too small.
I'm experimenting with the DXTweak for the moment but haven't really got it (yet). Deadzone is set to 20% but it's still overly sensitive in the centre. Don't really know if it's actually working.

I'd really like to know what the story with DXTweak is. I haven't been able to get deadzone adjustment in XP with it and have heard or read that XP doesn't support deadzone. But I keep hearing people suggesting DXTweak. Is there some top secret version I'm not allowed to know about, or is it something else?
