I am looking for a topend graphic card currently got a ati 9250 to old now and i am wanting to upgrade to a more powerful one just for gameing perfomance and has all the support for the lastest games and i am not to sure what to go for

Current PC specs

PC case - Jeantech JN804 G-MAX tower
Monitor - Proview 14ich flat screen
Motherboard - MSI MS-7021
Chipset - VIA KT600
Processor - AMD Athlon @ 2100+
Ram - 1024MB (2x 512 DDR_SDRAM)
Video card - ATI Radeon 9250 (RV280)
Hard disk - Maxtor (31GB & 120GB)
CD-Rom drive - Lite-on LTR-40125S
DVD-Rom drive - Atapi DVD 2x,16x,4x,16
Operating System - Microsoft XP Home Edition SP2
DirectX - Version 9.0
Fans - 4 for cooling reasons and 2 for GFX card still sounds nice and quite

With a CPU like that i could recomend a 9600XT, although a 6600 would be waaaay faster than that, although it will be limited b your hardware, should set you back about £50

something with an overclocked geforce 7800 ought to do the trick.just spoke to him - his budget is £220, and seeing as he'll need a new CPU (his one really will hold him back), he is thinking of going the whole hog to PCI-E - although when i say £220, i mean on the whole thing, not just the graphics card, meaning that a 7800 is out the window!
