Loads of people get banned from the Redline server, sure it may be unfair but you can do what you like in your own server. Look around and you'll see plenty of Redline bashing threads, do we really need another one?

I've never personally actually had any problem with the Redline server (apart from that they run LFS Lapper which I hate).

Ok, I was on Redline Racing server at around 18:00 UK time. This is what happened and "a reason to ban me";

Race Starts: In turn one someone hits me and I flip over. I have to pit.
Lap 1: I re-join the race in second to last place after having to pit using shift+s.
Lap 2: I do a good clean lap.
Lap 3: After turn one I get a BLUE FLAG warning and so I get ready to pull to the side along the straight to let them past as soon as I see something in mirrors. I see movement and pull to the left of the straight. Redline Evo just follows my movement and is slipstreaming me, then I see the turn at the end of the straight. I slow to let her pass as she has by now gone to my right side, she passes. But touches the ground after the green (to the left of the blue rumble pad) and looses control for abit. I assumed she was goign to push back in front and slowed. Someone else (assuming it was [ITEK]The End) went to the left because he saw me slowing and hit Evo. Then not to cause any more accidents I accelarated forward and out of the way of everyone. At the turn before the pits (with the clear ground) I stopped. She said "Your just like your team buddy" "Don't you know what a blue flag is?"

By my understanding I did everything correct as to let her pass.


4 More people got banned from the server for sticking up for me and telling her that it's unfair.

Didn't lose control mate, I went on to win the race.

What you did was a bit stupid, even without the blue flag incident, you were insulting, swearing and ordering other members about, whereas you shouldn't.

In all these stories we only hear 1 side, i raced on redline a lot yesterday...not 1 person was banned when i was there, and i was there a good 6 hours (insomnia sucks)

Anyway, there is already 2 threads, a 3rd is not needed.

Yup, it is damn annoying, the idling feature would be cool... but there's that damn text always with it. I don't care if "Player" is idling, just spectate him.

i was there just after wolfy got banned, and i was there about 30 mins, and she did swear at people , order them to do things, and shoutin at ppl when they do a small error, in all aspects every1 makes mistakes in life, this is a game, true u buy it, but u give chances and take accidents on the chin and drive on, in one hour i didnt finish one race, i didnt abuse them with language or ban them cuz i cant, even if i did i wouldnt ban them id give them a warnin and give them a few chances as they are here to have fun and races with friends and other fast drivers, if some1 lets u pass and u loose control u lost control not there fault if YOU lost control, u spin u race on, or spec and wait till next race, there is always more than one race to win, in those 30mins i seen 2 ppl banned and she kept kicking one player, Theveryend" constantly and after about 5 attempts him loggin in evo "lisa" bans him, is this how ur ment to treat ppl on a game they race just like any1 else, u dont treat them like shit, lisa u should take accidents on the chin, give people chances every1 makes ****ing mistakes, its part of life, when u have accidents or mess up sum1 dont gob of at u or say shit because ull just go "wrong answer banned" it happens all the time, when u was away it was a nice place to be, every1 racin funly, few accidents but we solved them by speaking nicely, bot banning them to the first instance u get, its not how it works, after a while ull realise ur mistake when theres no1 left after u banned every ****er, wake up and treat us like humans

Regarding LFS Lapper: Perhaps all messages could be prepended with ':', to eliminate the "fsh" sound. That would make sense since they are server messages and don't really need special attention.

These "I got banned" topics are all too common. It is best to deal with the server admins directly instead of airing your dirty laundry on the forum.
