today i was playing lfs demo and i saw that the host of the server was incredibly fast acheiving 160 mph with the xrgt turbo so i asked him how he got it he sent me the exe. dont know if this has been talked about before sorry if it has. well i would like cheating to stop its no fun i dont have lfs2 but the guy who used it said he uses it on lfs2 all the time. just wanted to let you people know there is a cheater on the loose :nod: dont know why :shrug: but he is :pillepall. oh and because i helped will some generous lfs2 user send me a license lol :D

Sort of how the S1 NOS hack was patched, I got the EXE from a cheater, along with a few others, who immediately sent it to the devs, got it fixed.

how can i send this to a dev? and the guy also had a mod that made his tires stay at the same temp they were at 58 degrees for the whole race. i know there was one for the old patch but i didnt know there was one for patch u.

just downloaded the patch and it wont work when i try to use the cheat the game just freezes!!!!! hopefully this patch comes out soon!

Same technique, different memory address. So our would-be helpful hacker who did all this then posted that he wanted to help the devs protect against it is still working on new cheats...

...If he really wanted to make LFS secure he'd have stopped writing cheats.

If the original poster here got that mod it might be wise to send that on to the devs, but I think from the other hack it should be fairly obvious to the devs how it works anyway - but they ought to be made aware that this is another memory address that needs protecting.

well ill try to update you on all the cheats i see because most likely they will be on the demo servers before s2 and the guy who had the cheat also said he had a s3 license is this possible? i also have 2 links that he posted more than 1000 times with the cheat :thumb: stupid cheaters oh and just mayb i will b licensed by september first my b-day is the 31st of august

You can purchase an S3 licence, but its just 12 GBP on your account, until Vic/Scawen enable S3 to be purchased, where S3 gets auto-purchased if you have sufficient funds in your account (I believe)

Irrevelent, it was a mod that only affected the Demo cars, and was allowed by the devs because it made a completely seperate entity with replays, and setups and everything, and online didn't work unless you were running a server that was running that mod, same sort of thing as slickmod and such.

Tyre temp is quite old, works just for patch U though, but online. detail made it, shortly after he deleted it, after he found out tyre-temps aren't synced. I have if you want it (j/k). AFAIK Scawen already knows about it.
